Expression of Interest: Kinship Carer Learning and Development Retreat – May 3 – 4

Express your interest in attending a learning and development retreat on the traditional lands of the Bunurong people.

Connect with carers and hear from presenters during an engaging two-day conference program. Catering, all retreat sessions and overnight accommodation will be provided complimentary. A $200 voucher will be provided to carers at the retreat, in recognition of potential travel and childcare costs.

If you are a Victorian home-based kinship carer (statutory or non-statutory) please fill register your interest by 26 February 2025. Selection will be via a random ballot with Carer Kafe targets considered. Please note that biological and adoptive parents are not eligible to apply.

While preference will be given to those who have not attended a Carer Kafe Learning and Development retreat in the last 12 months, those who have attended previously can also apply. More than one adult member per carer household can also apply, however preference will be given to individuals to attend.

On 28-29 June 2025 a Learning and Development Retreat for Carers of First Nations Children will be held in Lancefield.
